The soul's harp ~ Acrylic ~ (unframed)
This piece speaks volumes about our inner harp, where many strings are being checked regularly. And in order to create a harmonious tune, the weak strings need to be tightened and the hard ones need to be softened a bit.
Complexity (Print only) ~ Acrylic
When we are faced with the unknown, complexity is ought to arise thus often causing havoc. Harmony and peace dissipate at once and things turn inside out or mingle together as in this paining, where a mix of desert brown streaks cross and override the shiny white tunnels of hope and inspiration.
Birth ~ Acrylic ~ (unframed)
Birth and Death: Between these two major events, there are many birthing and dying moments, moments when we are touched by the loving support of others. But there are also times when we are called upon to midwife others and companion them through a certain time of transition.
The last fight ~ Acrylic ~ (unframed)
Inspired by two ancient Chinese warriors, perhaps this is a metaphoric for what is often referred to also as the inner fight.
The inner inferno ~ Acrylic ~ (unframed)
Cascades of fire or perhaps flames stemming from this mysterious lake - either way we often find ourselves trapped in fire literally as well as metaphorically - the question is now and here how to escape such a predicament?
The Inca woman ~ Acrylic ~ (unframed)
The Inca people used masks during their rituals and ceremonies for various reasons. Today people also wear masks and hide their real personality be it good or bad.
The heart core ~ Acrylic ~ (unframed)
Our heart is often a source of compassion but sometimes it can be a place of bitterness and melancholy. Either way, the emotions that feed that small organ are connected through an ethereal cord - sometimes a straight line of luminous light, other times a broken one shadowing darkness.
The cry ~ Acrylic ~ (unframed)
When different people experience different cultures, they are often met with aloofness and sometimes with rejection. Their life becomes dark and their faces sad - tears are bound to flow like rivers of disbelief but not always. Have you experienced something similar?
The atoms of colours Painting ~ Acrylic ~ (unframed)
Every one of us, as a child or even as an adult, must have seen or even picked and blown a dandelion just after making a brisk wish! This heavenly delicate flower that gave or still give us a sense of hope, courage and joy, seem so surreal. Just like people we know or knew, often seem like those fluffy bits that fly when blown away after helping us in one or another or just leaving us in peace...
The twin ~ Acrylic ~ (unframed)
In this painting, we see two characters daunted by sadness and frustration. The twin are perhaps two brothers or sisters, a couple or maybe just the same person with two different faces. Emotions often overwhelm one depending on circumstances and so do our actions, they too, can be influenced by our interaction with others.
The ocean monster ~ Acrylic ~ (unframed)
The ocean monster is always on the go; attacking and eating those vulnerable beings that are weaker than him or her. Could this be a sign of cruelty perhaps? Or could it be a sign of survival and perseverance in a vast ocean filled with many creatures. Just like our worldβs atrocities and its people who are always on the go. In fact, the situation underwater is pretty much similar to that above the water but in different forms and degrees of intensity.
